Before Work Begins

  • Review the intended use, dimensions, finish, site access, available plans, and existing conditions. The written proposal identifies the agreed work and exclusions.

  • Confirm preparation, drainage, subgrade or base requirements, formwork, and any specified reinforcement before placement.

  • Placement and consolidation methods should suit the mix, forms, reinforcement, access, and project requirements. Establish delivery and placement responsibilities in advance.

  • Discuss elevations, drainage slopes, the selected finish, and joint layout. Joints and curing help manage concrete behavior; they do not guarantee that concrete will never crack.

  • Confirm the curing method, protection, and timing for access. Loading requirements depend on the project and specified materials.

  • Review the agreed scope, cleanup, and care information. Identify any remaining project items and the next steps for addressing them.

  • Keep the written agreement, approved changes, care instructions, and any applicable warranty terms together. Contact the team with your project reference when you have a question.
